Cockroaches
Nocturnal, fast-breeding, and a documented asthma trigger.

Order Blattodea · Peak: Year-round indoors
Signs you have them
- Pepper-like droppings (German) or blunt cylinders (larger species)
- Daytime sightings — a sign of a heavy infestation
- Egg cases (oothecae) and shed skins in cracks
- A musty, oily odor in kitchens or bathrooms
Behavior
Roaches hide in warm, humid cracks and are active at night. German cockroaches reproduce indoors year-round and ride in on boxes, appliances, and through shared walls in multi-unit buildings. A daytime sighting usually means the harborage is already crowded.
Risks & health concerns
Cockroach allergen proteins are a well-documented trigger for asthma, especially in children, and roaches mechanically spread bacteria across food surfaces. They are a primary failure point in restaurant health inspections.
How we treat cockroaches
- 01Inspect with sticky-trap monitors to map harborage
- 02Place targeted gel baits where roaches feed and hide
- 03Apply insect growth regulators (IGRs) to break the breeding cycle
- 04Drive aggressive sanitation and seal voids — bait, not broadcast spray
Common questions
If covered pests return between your scheduled visits, we come back and re-treat at no additional charge. It is the core of every recurring plan — you are protected between visits, not just on the day we are there.
We use EPA-registered products applied strictly as directed on the label, and an Integrated Pest Management approach that uses the least-invasive effective method — often baits and targeted placements rather than broadcast spraying. The product label sets the re-entry interval; for most interior applications that simply means staying off treated surfaces until they are dry. We will always walk you through what we are using and any precautions.
